Until Maddie’s father died in a shooting, they finally realized what these numbers meant. She read them out to him, but he was confused not really sure what to think they just carried on with their lives. She’d first remember seeing these numbers in her childhood when her and her dad were learning the numbers. They were pretty small but not too small, they were also thin and black and were always etched out so perfectly that they looked like they came right out of the obituary. It didn’t matter if she knew them or not, no matter if she saw them in a photo or a video she could see their numbers.
